I am a PhD student at the University College Dublin Decarb-AI Centre ("Decarbonising Ireland: AI-Powered Pathways to Climate Resilience") and an Innovate for Ireland iScholar. Previously, I worked as an Aeronautical Meteorological Officer at Met Éireann and hold an MSc in Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate from the University of Reading and a BSc in Physics from UCD.
About
PhD researcher at the UCD Decarb-AI Centre and Innovate for Ireland iScholar, applying machine learning to weather and climate prediction.
Background
Research
My research focuses on the subseasonal-to-seasonal predictability of multi-hazard weather and climate events using machine learning. I develop data-driven methods that complement traditional numerical weather prediction, with applications in extreme weather risk and compound event analysis.
